Blog, blog, blog.

Hello everyone! Long time no post again. Actually I’m not in the mood in posting anything here on my blog.

Btw, our class ended last March 14, 2008. I’m so happy because I could spend the whole morning in my bed. :D Relax, unwind, do some things to free my mind from the school works. I still don’t know if will be taking my summer classes this coming April.  So I’ll enjoy this week and the following week first before I go back to NEU dear.

Last March 15, I’ve taken the Holy Supper and whoa! I’m relieved! Very much. I feel so enlighten again. HAahhaha Though I wasn’t able to attend our graduation in NSTP, I don’t have any regrets of not attending that graduation because of the Holy SUpper. Oha! :D

Right now, I always go out of my bed at 10 o’clock and after eating breakfast, I’ll start cleaning the house. As usual, the mess came from my sister and my father. I end up cleaning the house at exactly 12 noon then my mom and I will take our lunch. After washing the dishes, my mom will take a nap and I will just watch movies or surf the net for a while.

SPeaking of movies, I’ve watched 6 movies last Monday and Tuesday. WHoa! Movie Marathon. They are the following:

1. Music and Lyrics starring Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore. (Yeah I wasn’t able to watch that on theaters)

2. Lurking in Suburbia starring Joe Egender, Samuel Child, Ari Zagaris and Buffy Charlet.

3.  Date Movie starring Alyson Hannigan and Adam Campbell.

4. John Tucker Must Die  starring Brittany Snow, Jesse Metcalfe, Ashanti, Sophia Bush and Arielle Kebbel.

5. The Long Weekend  starring Chris Klein and Brendan Fehr.

6. My Tutor Friend starring Kwon Sang-woo and Kim Ha-Neu.

I’ll just tell you the synopsis of the stories on my next post. I really don’t have the mood today. :| After posting, I’ll continue watching movies. Hehehehe

Before I forgot, I’ve organized the pictures. The first gallery is about my family, the second is about the school. I’m still organizing the third gallery which is about my friends.

_thiNktWicE_: cheerdance? I don’t know if I still have the videos of the cheer dance. I wasn’t able to cover the whole cheer dance competition because I ran out of battery that time.

keil: any problem?

astrid: sis, I’ll wait for the pics. I’ll upload it also in my gallery.

liza: I’m fine. I haven’t visited your blog lately. SOrry.

KAt: Thanks for dropping by again. Nice to know another Kathleen Reyes.

Bye guys… :D Take care on your vacations…

lalalalala.. *can’t think of a title…*

Hey guys! How’s your day? Is it good day for you? Or the worst day? Well, congratulations if you had a nice day today and for those who have a worst day today, try to look on the brighter side tomorrow! Ok? :D

Today, I’m happy at the same time lonely… I’ll tell you first what made my day a happy one.

You know, I still have this aftershock in our English and Data Structure class. Hehehe… I don’t know why but I’m very relieved after we have finished the research paper and the finals for CS141.. Whew! Though we still have to take the exams this coming week, it has lessen our problems. Whhaahah!

By the way, I enjoyed also the discussion of Integrals in our Mat181A class but Ma’am Q don’t have pity on us. She still gave us a quiz… 4 meetings straight with lot of quizzes and homeworks! Our brains were drained already.. Hehehe.. Our Philo professor have noticed that we still have this “hangover” in Math because we can’t focus ourselves with what he is discussing. That’s the effect of Ma’am Q in our class. Cheers!

After the Philo class, me and my group mates in Filipino headed to the Main library to prepare our presentation for Filipino class tomorrow. Unfortunately, they don’t have the books that has 100% relevance to the assigned topic in our group. The librarian said “Punta kayo ng CED Library, mas marami dun.” Hello? They call this room the “Main Library” and yet you don’t have enough books to be used as references? OMG! We were forced to go to the CED library in order to get enough information for the report. Haay… Take note! From the Main Library (located at the 3rd floor of the College building) we’ll walk to that library which is located at the 4th floor of High School Building #2. Damn it!It’s so tiring! We have to go back and forth from the College building to the High School building. Anyway, let’s just go to the main topic…So many pasikot-sikot! :D

Tagis-Lakas is still going on and today my classmates and I have witnessed the competition between the CEM (College of Evangelical Ministry) and CET (College of Engineering and Technology). Both of the teams are very competitive. During the first and second half of the game, their scores were very close. As they reach the fourth quarter, the their gap ranged from 5-10. A player from the CET whom they call as the “Star of the CET” graduated from the game. Ehehehehehe But still, they won the game. Feels like I’m not that happy for my college? Hehehehe…. You can see some shots on the Moments page. We have taken some pictures during the game.. I’m sorry for the quality of the pictures. We just use the MP4/camera of Rosalie. Anyway, thanks to Rosalie.. :D

Before I end this post, I want to share to all the readers why I’m feeling sad today. I’m sad because my boyfriend and I don’t have much quality time since last week. He’s too busy with his projects and clients at the same time, I’m busy also because of the school works. I miss him very much. Whaaa! I hate this feeling.. I’m getting jealous of his work. Hehehehe… I miss jasper too… That’s the name of his cat… Hihihi!

I’ll help ate Yumie first with our report tomorrow.. Bye guys!

The end is near???

The end is near..

The end of the semester is near!

Whoa! Cheers for the students! This semester will end 2 weeks from now. :D We’ll rest for at least 2 months from HOMEWORKS, ASSIGNMENTS, PROJECTS, REQUIREMENTS, and lots of paper works… (Except for those who will have their summer classes *Hope I won’t take any summer class* :D) I’m so excited and I just can’t hide it… Hahaha! I have so many good news today! Hihihih!

First, my partner and I have defended already our research paper! Wheee!!! Our research paper will be donated to CAS  College of Arts and Sciences) library and reading center because it is related to the Psychology course. It will be presented during the exhibit and will be used as one of the references in the library. That’s one.

Second, our class will be exempted to take the final exams next week. There was this machine problem which covers Geometry and we were allowed to work as a class. If we can finish it today then the whole class is already exempted from the exams. Finally, we did it.. Whoa! Subjects for Final exams - one = less major subjects to review… Hehehehe

Last,  I’m finally home again! Hhahahah… I’m really hungry when I got home. Why? Because our “very bad” professor started our class at exactly 9:45 a.m. There are only 15 minutes left and we should go out of the room already because there will be other class who will occupy the room. WHoa! We went out of the room at 10:36! Our first lady got mad. Heheheh.. Another thing, our next class will be at 11:00. We don’t have much time left, so Vea and I decided to eat biscuits and water. Hahahaha

Well, good luck to our stomachs… :D

That’s my update for this day…  Have a nice night too!

Very Bad!

I’ll update first my blog while I’m waiting to finish the transferring of my pictures to my simpleviewer.

March 01, 2008 (Weh! We’re already on the third month of the year?! How fast!)

Arrgg!

I thought I could relax this Sunday because we’re done defending our research paper after all our efforts in finishing it on time and doing some .ppt presentation (Excuse me, I would like to thank Astrid! Thanks sis!). Unfortunately, our professor in English announced that we’ll just have our defense this coming Monday! Duh! I’ve been carrying the laptop since Thursday so we could have our defense today and the laptop isn’t that light. Another thing, I didn’t attend the practice in our NSTP-LTS graduation just to prepare the things my partner (Vea) and I will need during the time of our defense.

I’m sorry but I’m really disappointed today. To all the readers and the people who knows this person, forgive me. The professor have set the time of our defense at 12 o’clock in the afternoon until 1 o’clock. Vea and I decided to go to the university 3-4 hours before the time so we could have a practice and preparation. But it’s already 1 o’clock and still he’s not there! So I decided to go to his office and I saw him talking to other students. He said, “Ay ngayon na ba?!”. OMG! My blood pressure is getting higher and higher.. Another woman interrupted in our conversation. Together with the other students, we’ve been standing there for almost 1 hour, and he’s so numb that he can’t even excuse himself for a while… Arrgggg!!!! He just looked our final copy and signed “for Defense…blah blah blah” What?! He set another date for our defense! Whaaa! I think I’m gonna burst out right now! After that I went out immediately of his office because I really cannot take his attitude! He’s not that considerate enough to realize student’s effort for doing his projects on time. That’s all I can say for now…

Whoa! I’m done transferring my photos to simpleviewer…

P.S. Try visiting my page “MOMENT”. Love the pictures and the captions…Try looking at it… :D

Ciao!

Update, Update!!!!

Hey guys! I’m starting to make plans for the new look of my site. Not only the look but the contents as well. :D Let me tell you first what happened last Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and today! Hihihi!

Last Sunday, I’ve attended our Sunday worship service and PNK as well. It’s really nice to hear the voice of the choir and God’s gospel. It’s good for the soul! :D After that, Darren helped me with my project in one of our major subjects. We continue working on that last Monday since it’s another holiday in celebration with the People Power here in the Philippines.

Last Tuesday, our class was able to get the quiz from Ma’am Q. (NO! I’m dead, I haven’t review any of my notes. T_T) We’ll good luck with the outcome of that quiz. Heheheehe Our Philo class ended up early because of the opening of TAGIS-LAKAS. It is a yearly tradition wherein all the colleges inside our university will compete with each other. College of Engineering and Technology (that’s our college!), College of Arts and Sciences, College of Nursing, College of Business Administration and Education, College of Law, College of Evangelical Ministry, College of Education as well as the Caregivers enrolled in the university. The opening isn’t so entertaining though there were 3 numbers presented. Two dance number from the NEU Hunters (official cheering squad of NEU) and one from the dance troupe of Mass Comm. Though we don’t have another class after Philo, I still have to stay because of our NEVER-ENDING editing in Filipino and English. *sigh* I wish we could have already the permission for bookbinding so our problems will be lessen.

Today. I came late in my first class. As usual, our HB teacher is present again! I thought we had morning “sermon” with her. She said our class are very hard headed. Duh! As if she’s not! Hehehehe.. Ate rheg… nahahawa ako! Argh! AFter 8:30 we headed to room 310 for English class. There’s our “very bad” teacher saying very bad grammaring again. Hehehehe (sadya po un…) He already gave the schedule for our defense. Whaa! I’m a bit nervous and excited. At least, after Saturday, we’re already relieved with that freakin’ research in English 2 which turned out to be our major subject just like Filipino 2. Whooo!

Finally, our major teachers every Wednesdays attended our class. But they’ve dismissed us early.. Heheheh… Kristine and I went to the shop to print some requirements for our research’s final draft. After that we went to the 3rd floor of the high school building because we’ll go to Prof “very bad”. We stayed there from 3:00 until 4:00 standing in front of room 333 because he has a class until 4:40 p.m. Our feet hurt s already. *sigh* He finished signing our drafts at exactly 4:40. See! We waited their for almost 2 hours just for him to sign our papers. Haaay!!! My blood pressure’s rising again! I saw ate Regine looking so distraught/haggard due to English 2 final draft. Before we went out of the room ate Regine said, “blog na ‘to, blog na ‘to!” which made me laugh! (Ate Regine, eto na!)

Still, my week’s so tiring! Thank God there’s Darren to make my mind relaxed. We went home together. :D Ayyy! Kilig! Hehhehehe…

That’s all for today again…

Hey you can post your messages on the cbox! :D Take care everyone!

CET Week…

February 20, 2008

Hey there! I’m still alive even though I only got 2 hours of sleep last night. Hahahaha! By the way this post is about the CET Week. We didn’t have any class this day except for the Filipino but our professor stayed there just to tell the story of her life, believing that she’s the noblest and most humble person in our room. She has a point but she doesn’t have to say much, like we’re the only person who has a lot of sins. Everyone knows no one’s perfect. As a member of the Church, I do have the values that are taught every time we do worship services. After she finished all her speeches, her blood pressure got high again and looks like she’s blaming us again. When will she talk to us in a calm way?

Since we don’t have any class that day, I went to the library to take a nap. By 1:00o.m. We went to the University Hall to witnessed the most “anticipated” event this CET Week – CET lebrity Duets. This is a show based from the singing contest in GMA 7 entitled Celebrity Duets, hosted by Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid. Our college made our version of this show. Selected members of the faculty will imitate the 7 finalists in Celebrity Duets which represent each departments and organizations within CET. There’s E-Tim Yap (Tim Yap), Win-Gard Cracy (Wyngard Tracy), Hey-Dean K.O. (Hayden Kho), Pesa Prito Valdez (Tessa Prieto-Valdez), Jessica E.Rodriguez-Boulevard (Jessica Rodriguez Bunevacz), Anna Teresa Hikahos (Anna Theresa Licaros), and Manny Calamay (Manny Calayan). These faculty members were paired to some talented students in engineering. It’s very exciting but somehow boring bacause some perosnalities were not given the justice. Hahahhahaha. Another thing, those who where chosen to be on the special number weren’t so entertaining. Any way, that’s the only story I have for this day. I’m so tired. I have to give my mind a rest.

Oh by the way, this coming weeks I’ll be enhancing my blog. I’ll try to put more interesting posts. So I hope that more visitors will come and I’ll be inspired to do more of this.! Bye Guys… Night!

*Currently listening to Teardrops on My Guitar by Taylor Swift*

He’s the reason for the teardrops on my guitar
The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star
He’s the song in the car I keep singing, don’t know why I do

What a boring day… *sigh*

Hey guys! How was your day? Mine? It’s an exhausting day even though we didn’t have any classes today. My father and I woke up late and we went out of the house at 5:30 again. I thought I’ll be late for the class again. I don’t know why but even though my father enters the room first, he’s still not dressed up. I’m wondering what ceremonies is he doing when I’m already inside of the bathroom. Hehe (hey papa, joke only) So every morning, mom and I couldn’t just avoid looking at each other, exchanging big grins and having this thought at the back of our minds, “Bagal ng papa mo, male-late na kayo nyan.” I arrived at the university I think… 7:00 a.m. As I walk towards our classroom this morning, my classmate, Lea, called me and she said that we don’t have any classes from 7:00-10:00 a.m. this day due to the start of CET (it’s the acronym for our college, College of Engineering and Technology) week and parade. Oh my! I take all the efforts to be early on our first class because I thought we’ll have already the final editing. Whaa! I hate it! I’m at least happy that we don’t have any class from 7:00-10:00a.m. but still, our first two subjects are about research writing. We don’t have much time to finish it and yet we’re not having any class on those subjects for almost 2 weeks! Another thing is that, we’re allowed to wear civilian clothes as long as we wear green shirts but our block wasn’t informed of that memo. That’s why we went to the parade wearing our school uniform while others are wearing civilian clothes. Hahahaha we don’t belong and we can’t feel that CET week is already starting. Anyways, we can still wear civilian clothes with the rest of the week. Oh no! We can’t wear any type of clothes aside from our school uniform during our Math class and that class falls on Tuesdays and Fridays. What the?! It only means that the whole week that we were allowed to wear other clothes, Wednesday is the only day we can wear civilian clothes for we don’t have any class during Thursday and Saturday is naturally the day we’re allowed to wear “citizen” clothes. How nice! T_T After the parade, we went to the gymnasium for the official opening of the CET week. It only lasted for less than an hour and they told us to attend an activity at U-Hall by 1:00 in the afternoon. Though we want to go home already, we still can’t go cause our attendance on CS141Lab is there. The event at the U-hall started at 2 o’clock. We found out that it’s a “defense” on the different entries included in the exhibit at the 2nd floor main lobby which are made by the students of the different department in CET namely: IE (Industrial Engineering), ME (Mechanical Engineering), EE (Electrical Engineering), ECE (Electronics and Communications Engineering), CE (Civil Engineering), and CS (Computer Science ~ that’s my department!). As far as I can remember, CET faculty members invited 5 panelists to judge the entries presented. If there are other students from our school are reading this posts, please accept my apology but this is my blog, I have the right to say my opinions. Ahahhaha! Some of the presenters weren’t able to explain their entry very well. They didn’t use their time wisely and they’re just reading the whole text presented in the screen. But we appreciated the 2 departments: ECE and CS. Hahahaha I’m not being bias but if you could only see the way they present their entries, it’s different from the other finalists. :D Before the judging of the entries ended, many of the students just walked out of the hall maybe because of being bored or they don’t have interest to entries proposed. After the event at the U-hall, Rosalie and I went home already. And that’s the end of my boring day!Yahoo!… After this, I’m gonna log out again to get read some notes for the never-ending quiz in Philosophy! Whaaaa! Logic! Bye guys! Gonna turn off the modem, system unit, monitor, the last is the AVR. Hahaahahah!
