Update, Update!!!!

Hey guys! I’m starting to make plans for the new look of my site. Not only the look but the contents as well. :D Let me tell you first what happened last Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and today! Hihihi!

Last Sunday, I’ve attended our Sunday worship service and PNK as well. It’s really nice to hear the voice of the choir and God’s gospel. It’s good for the soul! :D After that, Darren helped me with my project in one of our major subjects. We continue working on that last Monday since it’s another holiday in celebration with the People Power here in the Philippines.

Last Tuesday, our class was able to get the quiz from Ma’am Q. (NO! I’m dead, I haven’t review any of my notes. T_T) We’ll good luck with the outcome of that quiz. Heheheehe Our Philo class ended up early because of the opening of TAGIS-LAKAS. It is a yearly tradition wherein all the colleges inside our university will compete with each other. College of Engineering and Technology (that’s our college!), College of Arts and Sciences, College of Nursing, College of Business Administration and Education, College of Law, College of Evangelical Ministry, College of Education as well as the Caregivers enrolled in the university. The opening isn’t so entertaining though there were 3 numbers presented. Two dance number from the NEU Hunters (official cheering squad of NEU) and one from the dance troupe of Mass Comm. Though we don’t have another class after Philo, I still have to stay because of our NEVER-ENDING editing in Filipino and English. *sigh* I wish we could have already the permission for bookbinding so our problems will be lessen.

Today. I came late in my first class. As usual, our HB teacher is present again! I thought we had morning “sermon” with her. She said our class are very hard headed. Duh! As if she’s not! Hehehehe.. Ate rheg… nahahawa ako! Argh! AFter 8:30 we headed to room 310 for English class. There’s our “very bad” teacher saying very bad grammaring again. Hehehehe (sadya po un…) He already gave the schedule for our defense. Whaa! I’m a bit nervous and excited. At least, after Saturday, we’re already relieved with that freakin’ research in English 2 which turned out to be our major subject just like Filipino 2. Whooo!

Finally, our major teachers every Wednesdays attended our class. But they’ve dismissed us early.. Heheheh… Kristine and I went to the shop to print some requirements for our research’s final draft. After that we went to the 3rd floor of the high school building because we’ll go to Prof “very bad”. We stayed there from 3:00 until 4:00 standing in front of room 333 because he has a class until 4:40 p.m. Our feet hurt s already. *sigh* He finished signing our drafts at exactly 4:40. See! We waited their for almost 2 hours just for him to sign our papers. Haaay!!! My blood pressure’s rising again! I saw ate Regine looking so distraught/haggard due to English 2 final draft. Before we went out of the room ate Regine said, “blog na ‘to, blog na ‘to!” which made me laugh! (Ate Regine, eto na!)

Still, my week’s so tiring! Thank God there’s Darren to make my mind relaxed. We went home together. :D Ayyy! Kilig! Hehhehehe…

That’s all for today again…

Hey you can post your messages on the cbox! :D Take care everyone!

Good for the soul…

February 23, 2008

Whaaa! I’m so tired but the last thing that I’ve accomplished this day is extremely good for the soul! *laughing*

This morning, I went to the university for my NSTP-LTS class which is a total waste of time and money. We went their just for the sake of attendance. We didn’t do anything there aside from chit-chatting with each other and waiting for the time for dismissal. Gggrrr.. I arrived there at exactly 8:45 a.m. and went home at 10:00 a.m. See! I spent 1 hour, 15 minutes going to the university and 2 hours doing nothing at school! OMG! Thank God, we only have 2 or 3 meetings left and for sucking class to end. Hehehe…

I went to KFC to eat something because I’m tired of walking and riding the jeepney (Pilipinong Pilipino.. Nyahahaha). I think I got home at 12:30… I slept for 2 or 3 hours and I went out of the house again by 4:30 to visit the little children in our Church. It’s so happy to know, that these children are waiting for you to visit them, saying “Hi ate Kath! Komite tayo?” (together with a big smile)… It’s a bit hard cause you’ll be going to the houses of these children wherein the distances of their houses are quite far from each other but you’ll realize that what you’re doing makes God happy. You’re taking care of His little lambs even though you don’t have any connection with them except that you’re in the same Church and both serving Him. It’s a wonderful experience for me being in the PNK because I have many little brothers and sisters. For everybody’s information, I’m the youngest in our family. Though I ask my parents to raise a child again, they cannot bear a child anymore. Hehehe.. That’s why I’m giving my time taking care of those little children….

That’s all for today.. I’m sorry, there’s no interesting story I have today… :D Hope you also have a nice day today!

Goodnight everyone!

CET Week…

February 20, 2008

Hey there! I’m still alive even though I only got 2 hours of sleep last night. Hahahaha! By the way this post is about the CET Week. We didn’t have any class this day except for the Filipino but our professor stayed there just to tell the story of her life, believing that she’s the noblest and most humble person in our room. She has a point but she doesn’t have to say much, like we’re the only person who has a lot of sins. Everyone knows no one’s perfect. As a member of the Church, I do have the values that are taught every time we do worship services. After she finished all her speeches, her blood pressure got high again and looks like she’s blaming us again. When will she talk to us in a calm way?

Since we don’t have any class that day, I went to the library to take a nap. By 1:00o.m. We went to the University Hall to witnessed the most “anticipated” event this CET Week – CET lebrity Duets. This is a show based from the singing contest in GMA 7 entitled Celebrity Duets, hosted by Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid. Our college made our version of this show. Selected members of the faculty will imitate the 7 finalists in Celebrity Duets which represent each departments and organizations within CET. There’s E-Tim Yap (Tim Yap), Win-Gard Cracy (Wyngard Tracy), Hey-Dean K.O. (Hayden Kho), Pesa Prito Valdez (Tessa Prieto-Valdez), Jessica E.Rodriguez-Boulevard (Jessica Rodriguez Bunevacz), Anna Teresa Hikahos (Anna Theresa Licaros), and Manny Calamay (Manny Calayan). These faculty members were paired to some talented students in engineering. It’s very exciting but somehow boring bacause some perosnalities were not given the justice. Hahahhahaha. Another thing, those who where chosen to be on the special number weren’t so entertaining. Any way, that’s the only story I have for this day. I’m so tired. I have to give my mind a rest.

Oh by the way, this coming weeks I’ll be enhancing my blog. I’ll try to put more interesting posts. So I hope that more visitors will come and I’ll be inspired to do more of this.! Bye Guys… Night!

*Currently listening to Teardrops on My Guitar by Taylor Swift*

He’s the reason for the teardrops on my guitar
The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star
He’s the song in the car I keep singing, don’t know why I do

Just an ordinary day…

February 19, 2008

*Exhausted!*

*Listening to the radio – Won’t Go Home Without You (Maroon 5)*

I am supposed to update my blog yesterday but I wasn’t able to do it because of our research paper in English. Anyway this first part of my post is about what happen to me yesterday.

As usual I’m 30 minutes late again yesterday for my first class but luckily, I saw Ma’am Quintana talking to one of her co-teachers. Wheee! I’m not late for our class! I’m still catching my breath when Ma’am Q entered the room. Her first words are these: “We have a QUIZ today, right?” Whaa! I haven’t reviewed my notes. Suddenly, our savior for that day, came in. Psychology students from the Guidance Counselor. Hehehehe.. It’s almost 8 o’clock, we don’t have much time to take the quiz! Whooo! *jumping* She reset our quiz this coming Friday (at least I still have time to review). After our class in Math, we proceed already at room 311 for our Philosophy quiz. Finally, our professor came and we took the exam the whole period. At last, our long quiz on Philosophy has ended. Right after our class we started working on our research paper in Filipino. We finished at 12 noon and I went to the Main Library to see Vea because we will be doing our research paper in English. I asked permission to her first because I’m already hungry! We started working at 2:00 p.m and completed the Preliminary Table of Contents, Chapters 1,2,3, and Appendices. I went out of the university at 5:45p.m. Because we’ll be picking up Darren from his office by 6.pm. It really feels so good to have your dearest love one beside you. :D *sigh* I’m relaxed, I feel so secured, it feels great.

When I got home, I turned on the computer right away to actually update my blog but unfortunately, I still have to do some typing in English. Believe it or not, starting from 8 p.m. up to 2 in the morning, all I did was typing, transferring text from one document to another. Ha! So tiring! Well, good luck to me for tomorrow’s classes. Will I survive for another day of travel, classes and activities during CET Week?

We’ll see….:D

What a boring day… *sigh*

Hey guys! How was your day? Mine? It’s an exhausting day even though we didn’t have any classes today. My father and I woke up late and we went out of the house at 5:30 again. I thought I’ll be late for the class again. I don’t know why but even though my father enters the room first, he’s still not dressed up. I’m wondering what ceremonies is he doing when I’m already inside of the bathroom. Hehe (hey papa, joke only) So every morning, mom and I couldn’t just avoid looking at each other, exchanging big grins and having this thought at the back of our minds, “Bagal ng papa mo, male-late na kayo nyan.” I arrived at the university I think… 7:00 a.m. As I walk towards our classroom this morning, my classmate, Lea, called me and she said that we don’t have any classes from 7:00-10:00 a.m. this day due to the start of CET (it’s the acronym for our college, College of Engineering and Technology) week and parade. Oh my! I take all the efforts to be early on our first class because I thought we’ll have already the final editing. Whaa! I hate it! I’m at least happy that we don’t have any class from 7:00-10:00a.m. but still, our first two subjects are about research writing. We don’t have much time to finish it and yet we’re not having any class on those subjects for almost 2 weeks! Another thing is that, we’re allowed to wear civilian clothes as long as we wear green shirts but our block wasn’t informed of that memo. That’s why we went to the parade wearing our school uniform while others are wearing civilian clothes. Hahahaha we don’t belong and we can’t feel that CET week is already starting. Anyways, we can still wear civilian clothes with the rest of the week. Oh no! We can’t wear any type of clothes aside from our school uniform during our Math class and that class falls on Tuesdays and Fridays. What the?! It only means that the whole week that we were allowed to wear other clothes, Wednesday is the only day we can wear civilian clothes for we don’t have any class during Thursday and Saturday is naturally the day we’re allowed to wear “citizen” clothes. How nice! T_T After the parade, we went to the gymnasium for the official opening of the CET week. It only lasted for less than an hour and they told us to attend an activity at U-Hall by 1:00 in the afternoon. Though we want to go home already, we still can’t go cause our attendance on CS141Lab is there. The event at the U-hall started at 2 o’clock. We found out that it’s a “defense” on the different entries included in the exhibit at the 2nd floor main lobby which are made by the students of the different department in CET namely: IE (Industrial Engineering), ME (Mechanical Engineering), EE (Electrical Engineering), ECE (Electronics and Communications Engineering), CE (Civil Engineering), and CS (Computer Science ~ that’s my department!). As far as I can remember, CET faculty members invited 5 panelists to judge the entries presented. If there are other students from our school are reading this posts, please accept my apology but this is my blog, I have the right to say my opinions. Ahahhaha! Some of the presenters weren’t able to explain their entry very well. They didn’t use their time wisely and they’re just reading the whole text presented in the screen. But we appreciated the 2 departments: ECE and CS. Hahahaha I’m not being bias but if you could only see the way they present their entries, it’s different from the other finalists. :D Before the judging of the entries ended, many of the students just walked out of the hall maybe because of being bored or they don’t have interest to entries proposed. After the event at the U-hall, Rosalie and I went home already. And that’s the end of my boring day!Yahoo!… After this, I’m gonna log out again to get read some notes for the never-ending quiz in Philosophy! Whaaaa! Logic! Bye guys! Gonna turn off the modem, system unit, monitor, the last is the AVR. Hahaahahah!

Movie Marathon at Gateway Cineplex*10

Before this week ends and start another freaking week, I would like to share this post about the movies we [Darren and I] have watched this week and last week. I forgot to include these movies on my updates. Hahaha!

After an activity in the university last week, we decided to see each other and as I took the bus going to Cubao, I saw a billboard about a movie where the tag line is “SOME THING HAS FOUND US” and there’s no actors or actresses posted below the picture. Better, see the picture below.

Yes! It’s a picture of the decapitated head of the Statue of Liberty in the movie CLOVERFIELD. It’s somehow intriguing right? Let me tell you what this movie is all about. Don’t worry for those who haven’t watched it yet. I won’t tell everything, I’ll just tell some things about it. After this, I’ll give you link where you can watch the trailer.

Well, this movie is about five young New Yorkers who gave farewell party to their friend on the same night that a gigantic monster [which I think it’s somehow similar to Godzilla] attacks the city.

It’s like a true-to-life film due to shaky camera work, because all throughout the film only a hand-held video camera was used by one of the characters, Hud. I read some reviews about this movie and I’ve read that one of the theaters where the movie was shown, there is already a warning about the effects while watching the movie and it goes like this, “DUE TO THE FILMING METHOD USED FOR “CLOVERFIELD,” GUESTS VIEWING THIS FILM MAY EXPERIENCE SIDE EFFECTS ASSOCIATED WITH MOTION SICKNESS SIMILAR TO RIDING A ROLLERCOASTER.” *laughing* Fortunately, while watching this movie, we didn’t experience any effects like nausea, temporary loss of balance, or dizziness. As I watch this movie, seeing the characters died I felt this thing called empathy to the character of the film. What if it happen here in the Philippines? I don’t want to see my loved ones dying in front of me. OMG! i don’t want to see us dying one by one due to stampede or things falling down on us. Hahaha! The ending just ends whoa! That’s it?!It’s a bitter ending, still. Ah~! Just watch it.. here’s a trailer.

http://www.cloverfieldmovie.com/

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Another movie which we have just watched this week is the JUMPER starring Hayden Christensen. The sci-fi film is directed by Doug Liman (director of Mr. and Mrs. Smith and The Bourne Identity ). Hayden plays the role of David Rice who discovered his ability to “jump” or teleport. He walked away from their house, live his own life and tried to practice or control his ability. He used his ability to steal from banks without leaving a trace, live 8 years “jumping” all across the world and living a consequence-free life until Roland Cox (played by Samuel Jackson) enter the scene. He is a leader of the Paladin organization, whose goal is to kill jumpers who are deemed too powerful to exist. He tried everything to put David down and all the jumpers like him [David].
David used his “jumping” ability to take Millie (played by Rachel Bilson) to the places she’s been dreaming way back when they were still in high school. It’s so nice to have that ability right? Go to the places where you want to go especially when you have a deadline at school or at your work. You could just escape and jump to the place where you can unwind yourself first!*Laughing* It’s a fine movie.. :D By the way here’s the trailer. Check it at:
http://www.jumperthemovie.com/
LAST WORDS:
I have to go now.. I still have to get things ready for tomorrow! OMG! It’s Monday again tomorrow! Too fast! Oh by the way, it’s CET week tomorrow in our school. Special Greetings to ate Regine! Hahaha!
Hey Ny, don’t be sorry ok? I’m fine, Your fine, We’re fine! Love yah! Bye!
Whaa my mother’s yelling at me already! Bye!
Just an update..
Whoo! It’s Friday again, time to update my blog. Right now, there’s I’m listening to Leann Rimes’ “Looking through Your Eyes”. Love it. *senti mode*
Anyways, I’ll just drop by and say some events in my life this week.
February 11 - Monday
It’s a happy day for me. We shared another year together and I wish that we would have a marvelous and colorful relationship this year. Though we didn’t get a chance to see each other, we still try to communicate every minute, every hour that we’re not together. I know I’m too still young to know this love but I’m can feel it right now. Every time I pray to God, I always tell Him if He could just grant him as my husband in the future. Too early isn’t it but I don’t want to be away from him especially this time that we’ve established a very close connection. I’m so into him. The only thing that made me happy that night was when he sent me a message with a smiley saying “Happy Birthday too”. He’s the type of person who doesn’t like to put smileys on his text. I don’t know why but it rarely happens. I love my Ny.
February 12 - Tuesday
Ordinary Day. Calculus with Analytic Geometry class. No professor but she left us with a quiz. Damn it. No quiz at Philosophy but another discussion lack of activities. Hahaha…
February 13 - Wednesday
Whole with NO CLASS! Such a waste of time going to school that day. Our first period professor, still in the hospital, confined. Second class professor? Attacked by asthma. Third class professor? She just gave us some pieces of shit, told us we’ll be having a quiz next meeting and class dismissed. Last period prof, she has a sick also. OMG! They all have a weak body. Hahahaha! Or maybe it’s caused by aging.
February 14 – Thursday
No classes, rest day. Whoo! Woke up at 4:50 to go to the church and attend the worship service. I didn’t remember that it’s “Valentines [mistakenly pronounced as Balentimes] Day” of the Catholics cause that day, I wore a red printed sleeveless with a red blazer and a black skirt. All the people in the Church keep on looking at me and that’s the only time I remember that its 14th of February.
I have reformatted our computer. It’s full of spywares which disabled the keyboard, automatically sending messages to all the person in my YM. So all the people on line kept on asking me, what am I exactly saying on those messages. Hate it! At the end of the day, we decided to see each other cause I’ll be borrowing also some installer for my PC. We just had 30 minutes to see each other because it’s already late at night. Just a hug takes away all our stress that day. But there’s one thing that made me feel a little bit sick. I checked the messages on his phone and saw some messages from one of our close friends. They have some exchange of messages talking about the girls’ crush and some things about us. I don’t mind if they’re texting each other, the only thing that made me sad was he never mentioned anything about that. I’ve seen the date and it was last Monday, February 11. Tuesday, Wednesday and just that morning had passed but he never mentioned that they have exchange messages that night. One of his text to the girl made me feel guilty. I know I’m not that good listener to him. I admit that I’m stubborn at times and he can’t burst out all his problems to me so we often end up to arguments because of my temper. I’m sorry Ny if I’ve never been a good friend to you especially at times that you need someone to share your problems. I cannot blame him if that’s what he really feels inside. I’m trying to control my temper now, I hope it will work. I’m not saying that I would provoke another argument but in case that we would be talking on some issues between the two of us I’ll control my temper so we could end it nicely. Oh I forgot! That day, he texted me that he’ll be seeing a girl from MC! I was really surprised that I didn’t take it as a joke but a serious one. I almost scream here in our house and logged out at YM. He said he was only joking (for me it’s not a joke). He apologized, I accept it but I told him that do not do it again. After all, it’s still a good day for me.
February 15 – Friday (TODAY!)
Usual day for everyone. Attending Math, Philosophy and P.E. Class. Hooray! No quiz at Philosophy again! Hahahaha… P.E. Class dancing Cariñosa. Actually our time is until 12 o’clock only but we extended due to some projects (i.e. English and Filipino which is both research projects). I went home at 3:00 in the afternoon. I arrived at 5:00 and logged on to YM. We didn’t get a chance to talk much on line because he’s busy on his work. There was a problem and he needed to fix it immediately because there’s a PBA game between Alaska Aces and Red Bull Barako going on. I wish I could give him some massage that would relax his stressed muscles. *smiley* I think that would be all for this day.
Finally I’m done updating my posts this week. I think I’ll be more busy this coming weeks cause there are so many activities lined up for us. CET week and deadline of Researches next week. Upcoming defense and final exams by March. Whaaa!! I wish I’ll pass all my subjects this semester so that I won’t be taking up summer classes… :D Bye guys! Mwah mwah!
Wrong Impressions…
Today, I suffered from dysmenorrhea again and as usual, there’s the continuous flow of blood, crumps, lost of appetite and all I can take is water. Damn it. Good thing that my dysmenorrhea came after my last class today and take note it’s Physical Education. I still had a chance to dance Subli (a folk dance). Right after our class, I can slowly feel the pain in my back. Rosalie and I decided to go to the canteen to eat lunch and go to the library afterwards. When the food is already in front of me, I cannot eat it because I already lost my appetite due to my condition. She asked me if I’m alright but I cannot answer her because I can’t already take the pain that I’m feeling. She volunteered to go to the clinic to get some medicine for me but the personnel in the clinic didn’t allowed her to get the medicine. The personnel said that I should be the one to go there. For the second time, Rosalie accompanied me, and the personnel gave me the medicine but she said that I should eat first something that is hot before I take the medicine. After I got the medicine from the clinic, I saw Gelden and Rosalie carrying my things. I didn’t told them to do that but they insisted carrying it. We went to the canteen to eat again. I ate porridge but I really can’t finish it all by myself. I think I had only 10 spoons. I took the medicine immediately to relieve my pain but 15 minutes has passed and I can’t feel the effect of the pain reliever. I went back to the clinic to take a nap. I think I slept there for 30 minutes. This time, I’m relieved and the pain was gone already. *smiley* But I noticed that there was a blanket over me. Whoever he or she is, I would like to thank her/him personally. I decided to go out of the clinic and they gave me the permission to go out. I went to the library and looked for Rosalie and my group mates in Filipino. I didn’t saw ate Yumie and the rest of the group but I saw Rosalie over the computer section of the library. She asked me again how am I feeling right now and I replied, “I’m already fine. I’m okay.” She returned a wide smile back to me. She told me that they went to the clinic a while ago to check me up but I’m still sleeping and it was her and ate Yumie who put the blanket on me.
Right after she said that, I felt that my classmates especially Rosalie, Gelden and ate Yumie cared a lot for me (not only me but the whole class too). Way back last year during the start of our second semester, I felt that there’s no place for me in class C3. No one wants to be with me. They won’t talk to me unless I talk to them. I always eat alone. I mean, it’s fine with me if I eat alone everyday but at least a classmate who would invite me to join with them is fine for me. But now, everything has changed. We already share stories, laughters, jokes and many more. I wish I could still stay at this block next semester. It’s still okay with me if I don’t belong already on this block, at least I have experienced being with them.
That’s all my story today…
Oops! Before I forgot… 3 days left before our 3rd year anniversary.. I’m so excited! :D
My very Compassionate boyfriend and best friend.
Ten days from now, me and my boyfriend will be celebrating our 3rd year. I’m very happy that we’re already on our 3rd year. I’ll try to recall all the things happened in our relationships for the past 3 years. *smiley*
During our first year:
We started as best friends, he treated me like a little sister, and I treated him as my big brother but our relationship as best friend was looking for a deeper connection. Things happened so fast that we didn’t notice we’re already falling in love with each other. Our first year was exciting. It’s a different relationship we have now unlike before we’re just best of friends. We kept our relationship to our parents and friends for a while because my age is still illegal to enter a relationship like this. His first gift is the 5th album of Kyla “Not Your Ordinary Girl: 5th Edition”. He gave it to me personally in our house. How sweet isn’t it? We had so much fun when we’re together, he’ll always crack jokes and make funny and silly things that’s very entertaining to me, he’s very flamboyant when it comes to me. Other people think he’s very snobbish, he has his own world, he only knows one person and that’s me. Anyway, you cannot please everybody. *grin* It was a very happy year for us.
During our second year:
Thanks to God, we’re on our second year, still strong and active. This year, was the year when our parents found out our relationship, there’s no objection against our relationship but still they’re giving me advice to keep focused on my studies while I’m on a relationship. I’m very glad that he understands me. He wanted me to finish my studies, and get a good job related to my course someday. Both of us want to work together in a company so that we could keep an eye on each other. This year was the year that I really felt that I’m a lady already, receiving cards, roses, chocolates and stuff toys. Wheee… That’s really overwhelming. *smiley* Oh, before I forgot, he gave me Sherry and Wea as a gift and they became our imaginary babies. Weird!
We’ve also encountered so many problems on this year (that’s natural in every relationship), this is where we are starting to discover our partner’s likes and dislikes. So many issues and arguments have been discussed. I admit that I’m the one who always make troubles between the two of us, impatient, not a very good listener and a person who cannot bring down his pride or ego for his love one. We tried to solve problems and most of them are solved. Hehehehe
I’m trying, and still trying to change those bad attitudes I have right now for us to stay longer and stronger. I hope he can forgive me with all the bad things I’ve done to him. Forgive me for breaking most of my promises, for not being there for you sometimes especially when you need a friend. I’ll try to be the person who really deserves your love and time. I’ll try to be a good and reliable best friend, girlfriend and future wife to you. His love for me very unconditional, he always tries to give his just to teach and help me with my assignments. He can even leave for a day in his work if I really need his help. He stays up with me until I finish my homework and projects because at that time, I’m a graduating student in high school. Even if my family has some financial problems, he’s willing to help as long as he can. He’s my tutor in Mathematics, Science and Programming. He’s a very hard-working man and right now I can say that he will be a good father and provider for our future child/children. I don’t know how I can repay all the very good things he did for me and my family.
That’s all I want to say for now. Happy 3rd year anniversary. Love you Darren.
